About Us
About WRGS Community Radio Station
WRGS is a radio station in Hawkins County, TN, that has made a proud tradition out of serving our community since 1954. We have always been owned and operated locally by the Beal family. Most of our employees have been a part of our radio family for 10 to 30 years. We’ve been actively serving in the community, churches, civic clubs, and local organizations.
Our Staff
Debbie Beal, Owner/General Manager/Digital Media

Debbie has been the owner and general manager of WRGS since January 1, 2016. She started running the radio station after her husband, Philip Beal, who was owner and manager since 1972, passed away. She began working at WRGS in 2008 after closing her Rogersville Pottery Studio and Gallery of 25 years.
Debbie's jobs include bossing the staff and paying the bills, production, selling advertising, IT manager (scary, isn't it?), and going to lunch...works for her! If you need to contact Debbie, email us or call the station at (423) 272-2628.
